Dr. Aleksandra Ita Olszewska received her PhD in curriculum and instruction with a specialization in ESOL and bilingual education from the University of Florida in 2020 as a Fulbright scholar from Poland. She currently works as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Center for Multilingualism in Society across the Lifespan (MultiLing), University of Oslo, Norway. Her research interests include migration, teacher education for refugee and immigrant-background students, multilingual education, translanguaging, and socially just pedagogies.
