Elizabeth Burton is a recent graduate of Barnard College, Columbia University, where she majored in education studies and minored in women's, gender, and sexuality studies. While working as a research assistant under Professor Erika Kitzmiller, she contributed to her studies of racial inequities in rural Pennsylvania and conducted her own research into the history of antiblackness at Barnard College.
