Dr. J. Kessa Roberts is an assistant professor of school leadership in the School of Teacher Education and Leadership in the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services at Utah State University. A former rural K-12 educator, her research focuses on the intersection of leadership and policy, with particular emphases on rural contexts and the connections between schools, families, and communities.
