Dr. Maria Coady is the Goodnight Distinguished Professor in Educational Equity and a Professor of Multilingual Education at North Carolina State University. She received her doctor of philosophy degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder, where she studied bilingualism and bilingual education. Using a lens of equity and place, Dr. Coady examines multilingualism, bilingual education, rural teacher-leader education, and language policies.
