Timberly L Baker, PhD, is an associate professor of educational leadership at Arkansas State University. Her expertise lies in improving educational outcomes for marginalized K-12 students and their educational providers, through examinations of policy, practices, and praxis. Currently Dr. Baker's work and research focus on the Black Belt of the American South, which includes studies on rurality, school community impacts, and home-education.
