
Vonna L. Hemmler is a former research associate at the University of Virginia’s School of Education and Human Development, where she worked with the National Center for Research on Gifted Education and Project PLACE. Her research interests pertain broadly to the equitable education of culturally and linguistically diverse students in K-12 schools. Her work has been featured in the American Educational Research Journal, Teaching & Teacher Education, Qualitative Research, and the Journal for the Education of the Gifted, among others.
