Darris R. Means is an associate professor of higher education and the Dean’s Faculty Scholar in Equity, Justice, and Rural Education at the University of Pittsburgh. Darris uses critical, asset-based approaches to examine economic, social, and educational conditions that shape postsecondary education access and success for rural students.
