Juan Manuel Niño, PhD, is an associate professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio in the Department of Educational Leadership and Policy Studies, and co-coordinator of the Urban School Leaders Collaborative programs. His experiences as a scholar-practitioner are closely supported by a philosophy of preparing aspiring school leaders for social justice.
