Vanessa Anthony-Stevens is an associate professor of social and cultural studies in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Idaho. Her research examines the critical intersections of identity, race, language, and power in school discourse and educational reforms. She specializes in Indigenous education in the Americas and is principal investigator of numerous Tribal Nation-University partnerships in education. Vanessa is married to Dr. Philip Stevens and is the mother to two daughters.
